Life Care PlanningLife Care Plan is based upon standards of practice, assessment, data analysis and comprehensive research, which provides an organized plan outlining an injured individual’s annual and long-term costs for care over their lifetime. The Life Care Plan is used for the purpose of estimating medical and non-medical needs of a client with a catastrophic injury. Life Care Plans are typically developed for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health needs. Whether it is for establishing insurance reserves, litigation, or trusts, a Life Care Plan ensures funds will be available to properly care for the individual through their lifetime. It is tailored to the individual's current and anticipated needs throughout life expectancy and projects the costs and frequency of goods and services an individual will need over their projected life span. Life Care Plans provide information in present day costs including the care needs and frequency through the life span for the following areas: * Supplies & Equipment * Diagnostic Testing * Physician Visits * Medications * Therapy * Orthotics / Prosthetics * Education & Vocational Needs * Transportation * Leisure & Recreation * Home Renovation * Home Care * Long Term Residential Costs * Skilled Nursing |
